AMVETS Scholarship in Pheonix University 2011


This Minority Graduate Scholarships opportunity is in partnership with AMVETS, a non-profit organizations and scholarship process is managed by a staff member at the AMVETS. This process includes, but is not limited to, the making of applications, filing applications, the formation of the selection committee and finalization of the list of recipients. BAYERBoost Minority Graduate Scholarship funded by corporate innovation and research of Bayer Australia, and managed by Australian Geographic Society.

The
Minority Graduate Scholarship aim of the scheme:

Encourage and promote research in, about and for the environment.
Provide students with the opportunity to broaden their experience in research or action for the environment
Enable students to gain experience in working with accredited organizations involved in environmental research or restoration.

Each scholarship will be worth:

$ 6,000 for a tertiary student who will be required to work for 12 weeks
$ 5,000 for a 12 year student who will be asked to work for 10 weeks
$ 3,000 for a 11 year student who will be asked to work for 6 weeks.

Change Fellowship Awards Minority Graduate Scholarships


This Minority Graduate Scholarships award was made possible by major funding from the Jacobs Foundation, with additional support from the National Research Foundation in South Africa and IUPsyS. Seven awards amounting to € 25 000 each are available. This number can be used for expenses related research, including research equipment, data collection, and travel to, the registration and accommodation during the ICP 2012. A proposed budget must be included as an attachment to the research proposal.

This
Minority Graduate Scholarships award is open to early career psychologists who have completed a PhD (or equivalent full) within the previous 10 years ICP 2012. Consideration also may be given where for a long time has passed since the official left and / or alleviate the condition beyond
applicant's control.

Minority Graduate Scholarships Applicants must be permanent residents of the countries of sub-Saharan Africa. They also must be located in a recognized university or research institution known for, or received as a guest researcher at the institute.

PhD Positions Minority Graduate Scholarships


We Minority Graduate Scholarships are looking for inspired and dedicated individuals who are interested in doing research work in the multi-faceted field of structural engineering.

Aims Details:

he overall aim of the Research training group is to assess the reliability, safety and robustness of numerical models. This Minority Graduate Scholarships evaluation considers a wide range of aspects and models. This includes, but is not restricted to, models that describe loads or the material and structural behavior of systems in structural engineering. Of particular interest are the interactions of these models in complex systems. Their influence on the quality of models of complex coupled systems is to be determined.

Project Details:

Basis for the research are the results that have been realized during the first project phase. Further research will be carried out in work groups of two to three PhD students under the guidance of two Postdoctoral students. Each doctoral student is supervised by three professors, two of which are professors in Weimar and the third being one of our international partners. Following an intensive training phase the participating doctoral students will develop the subject of their theses in collaboration with their supervisors. The Minority Graduate Scholarships combination of the models and methods of the specific projects then provides the means for handling the complex problems encountered in the working groups.

The Applicant applying for this Minority Graduate Scholarships should be Bachelor of Commerce (and combined degree) undertaking their penultimate year of study.Combined degree students are also eligible but must be in their penultimate year of the degree (the Commerce component may already be completed).
